B.A.L.L. is an historical simulation league entering the 1983 season (currently doing offseason activities of amateur draft and free agent bidding). We started with the 1980 season and are entering our 4th season (started as an OOTP 2006 league and moved to OOTP 2007). B.A.L.L. was originally founded by Jason Wert (Autism Speaks on the boards) back in March 1998 using FPS '98 and lasted until May 2004. The league then took some time off before restarting. I have been the league commissioner since Spring 1999. Abut 80% of the current owners are owners from the original league. Very stable and very competitive/active.

We use real historical players but have allowed owners to relocate their teams to any city they want. The league started out with the real 1980 league alignments and realigned to create 2 leagues with 8 teams, 2 divisions per league each containing 4 teams.

We are looking for two owners for the following available teams:

Toledo Mudhens (1982 record: 74-88)

The Mudhens are lead by 1B Keith Hernandez and have solid pitching prospects Jim Gott and Mike Moore ready to join the bigs.

Cape Canaveral Rocketmen (1982 record: 74-88)

The Rocketmen are led on offense by Bobby Murcer and Cecil Cooper and the pitching staff is led by Frank Pastore and Dan Quisenberry. They have Don Mattingly and Atlee Hammaker waiting in the minors to join the bigs.

B.A.L.L. sims 3 days a week (T/Th/Sat), 7 sim days per sim.
