CCBL looking for owners

The CCBL, a historical league that started with the 1930 season, is looking for new owners. We ran on 6.5 from 1930 through 1950 and recently switched to OOTP 2007 for the 1951 season. With the transition, we lost a few owners.

We are now two months into the season and need some OOTP 2007 owners to join us. The teams available are:

Boston Red Sox (currently 13-26, 14 GB)
Chicago White Sox (17-22, 10 GB)
Cleveland Indians (24-15, 3 GB)
St. Louis Browns (19-20, 8 GB)

For more information on the league, check out the league web site:

If you have any interest, please contact me at michael@ccblsim.com.

Thanks,
Michael

The CCBL is starting the 1952 season, and we have 3 openings. We are seeking active owners to fill these teams, as all 3 were in the fight for the postseason in the last couple of years.

The open teams are:

Chicago Cubs
St. Louis Cardinals
Cleveland Indians

To check out the teams, visit the CCBL Web Site. If you are interested or have any questions, contact Michael for more information.

Now in the off-season after the 1952 season, the CCBL is looking for owners to fill two teams:

Chicago White Sox
St. Louis Browns

The White Sox are closer to competing for a playoff spot, as they won 90 games last season. The Browns, meanwhile, struggled to 66 wins and are more of a rebuilding project.

Up to our move to OOTP2007, the CCBL had been a very stable league with few ownership changes. The move to OOTP2007 has brought more ownership changes than I would like to see, but we still have a very strong core of 10 or so owners who have been with the league for years.

To check out the teams, visit the CCBL Web Site. If you are interested or have any questions, contact Michael for more information.

About to start the 1954 season, the CCBL is seeking one owner for the New York Yankees. The Yankees are a historically-strong team, finishing first in their division 4 of the past 5 years. They have a core lineup that could get them back to the postseason once again, with the right leadership.

To check out the team, visit the CCBL Web Site. If you are interested or have any questions, contact Michael for more information.

Still looking for a Yankees owner. Had a couple of bites that went nowhere. The Yankees are currently leading the AL East as we enter August. Sure, they are 12 under .500, but they are lined up for the postseason!

Interested? Let me know.
