Are there any leagues that you can play your own game?

Is there a reason why we can't play our own games? Most leagues want
to go through a season at a very fast pace. I would prefer a slower pace that allows me to enjoy the manager roll of the game. I enjoy having total control and playing more at the MLB pace.

Any "slow" fictional leagues out there? Like Oldmill, I would enjoy a slow, even real-time pace, but love fictional play.

By the way, I'm new here. Bought OOTP for the first time about a month ago, after 25 years of tabletop sims. I've been playing solo, and ramping up towards joining an online league.

Methinks my life will never be the same.

Looks like we want the same thing in a league. I heard there are leagues
