HBL looking for Yankees owner in 26th season of play

The Hickory Baseball League is looking for an owner for the New York Yankees.

The Yankees made the World Series last year, so this is a very good team. Some highlights:

Robert Blakey: One of the best power hitters in league history. Still relatively young, and poised to make a run at the all-time HR record for the league.
Glenn Lasagabaster: Last year's rookie of the year. Has the best name in the league. Dubbed "the chosen one" based on nothing but his last name.
Edgar Pivonka: Only 26 years old, perennial 30 homer, 100 RBI, 100 run player. The best young player in the game.
Dominic Wynkoop: Another young player, this guy has won multiple Cy Young awards at only 26 years old. Easily one of the top 3 pitchers in the American League.
6th ranked minor league system in the league.

Thats really just the beginning. This is a really good team.

The HBL has been going strong since 2001 (real-time) and has a good core of dedicated owners. This league is not going anywhere, so if you're looking for a stable league, this is it. Our website was just re-designed and will be adding many custom features in the future.

Unfortunately, I don't have AIM at work, but I'm interested if you have a space for someone who played in numerous online OOTP leagues 3-5 years ago, had some kids, got busy, did other stuff, and now is looking to get back into it. If so, let me know and I'll send you my email address.
