Beta Baseball looking for owners entering its 22nd season!

So, here are the facts about us:

1. We have 12 fictional teams.
2. We use talent only, hiding ratings.
3. We have a slightly pitcher-friendly environment, and generally use 4-man rotations.
4. We sim three times a week, 2 weeks' worth of games.
5. We are celebrating our fourth anniversary - we're pretty solid!
6. We start our FA period on Sunday, so make sure to grab a team quick!

Our available teams are the following:

1. Skojpp Bombers

The Bombers, after three finals appearances culminating in a title victory, have been outperformed. Finishing 2nd and 3rd in the past two years, they are still a dominant force in the Axelite League. The team is aging, but it still features a bunch of very good hitters and two solid starting pitchers. They lost several talented players, however, due to deep financial troubles. You are inheriting a team that needs someone to give it a direction in this crucial time. Are you feeling up to it?

***TAKEN*** 2. Maisonneuve Marauders ***TAKEN***
The Marauders have the best hitter in their league, namely Gregory Gardiner, defending unanimous MVP. They also have the defending batting champion, Blue Blue Lean, and perhaps the best shortstop in their league in Keller Addison. They finished in third place last year. That's all fun and games, until you realize that they are losing a lot of money, and fast. They are set to lose over 20 million dollars this season. The challenge here is to maintain a competitive team while reducing financial difficulties.

3. George Falls Barons

The Barons are very clearly an awful team. A former glorious franchise, it finished 5th out of 6 last year, 51 games behind. If you want a challenge, you have it. What's worse, their minors are very very dry, with only one player in the top 50 prospects (and it's a 12-team league). The only good side to this team is that it's not in a financial mess. Patient, caring owner welcomed!

4. Proletarian Knot Sfeer

Here's an interesting team. It's a very good one, with a rotation anchored by defending Pitcher of the Year and perhaps best pitcher ever Ian Worang, surrounded by Burkhard Running and Saam Knittle, two very young and promising starters. Their lineup is also younger than most, and shows much promise. Finishing in 2nd place last year, the challenge of this team is to get on top of the standings without getting into financial trouble - especially considering some of their young stars will reach arbitration and free agency soon. They were forced to trade the last two MVPs and possibly two best players in the league, Daniel Antol and Adrian Hirsch, over to their Pierrefonds rivals in order to get out of financial trouble last time. The riskiest team to manage out of the available ones, in my opinion.

You can PM me here if you are interested. You can find us at Beta Baseball..
