The next round of position fillings will come at some time tomorrow, so if you've submitted this evening, don't get antsy.

I had to stop adding coaches to the file so that we could finalize the file and get Getch's utilities set up.

I'll get back on it tomorrow, hoping to fill the final 30 spots or so. TSW is abuzz on the forums, so get your app in and join in on the festivities.

Ok, you got me. I would have killed a man to be the Milwaukee Brewers, but it's too late for that. I'll "settle" for any other team (or the Mud Hens).

I hope they don't change too much. I think I've already fallen in love with my team. Damn you Chris for pointing the reports out to me!

Why the changes though? The names are great if you ask me. Otis King, Tookie Blakely, Floyd Hobart, Evan Holder, Eppa Thomason, David Rust, Doc Staub, Snooks Hunt, Clyde Milligan. I couldn't have come up with better names had I tried.

Will there be an option for community members to create players to be included in the league? I don't have OOTP 8 and don't plan on purchasing it but if I could have a player in the league that would be nice.

The test league that those reports came from had the wrong year in it as I mistyped 45 instead of 35. Thanks, Kieran, the names files are custom created with regard to the 'American' and 'Negro' leagues. Latino and Texican use a modified Latin/American names file too.

Also, raidergoo has provided a modded XML file for the news that takes out all references to SION and replaces it with TSW.

Possible, if the name is era correct. Thread at TSW now for this.

Don't tarry; this is going to be filled very soon. There may only be 10-15 clubs left open after I go through the apps I have later today.

I need only 5 more applications to finish filling this league and then its on to a waiting list! Thanks to all for their support and confidence in filling this very out of the ordinarily sized league.

I already know someone who requested being #1 on the wait list due to his busy schedule right now. Some programmer in Germany. Making some baseball game, I hear.

What the hell does a German know about baseball!?

Markus put himself on the waiting list? Sheesh, a lot of the game programmers seem to be drawn towards TSW Leagues. Gary, now Markus. Who else do we know of?

I've applied for one of the four remaining openings. This will be my first online adventure past OOTP 6.5

I keep buying the newer versions, but I have not liked anything until OOTP8.

Incredible as it may seem, we not only are full as of now, but we have a two person waiting list.

Anyone else who wishes to be involved, PLEASE send your info. Someone might need help running their club during an absence or something.

I am still in SO49. We've been simming since March 2002.

I rarely come to this board, because I was very disappointed with OOTP 2006. I bought OOTP 8 this past week, and I like it, but I am frustrated by some things it does which I cannot figure out why. For example, why is that when I am playing a historical league, I rename a team and all its abbreviations, but at the end of the season, it goes back to what it was named before I renamed it. I guess I will have to search through the forums.

I've had the same problem and have yet to figure it out.
