Historical Leagues are not authentic!
Baseball was profoundly changed in the early 1970's yet OOTP does not
apply how baseball was run in the years prior Free Agents. I had set up my 1960 league, When It Was A Game. I wanted like then, players were slaves to there team owners, total control as it was. I set the rules, turn off Free Agents, NO rule 5, disable Wavier rules, No arbitration, No minor league free agency, enable option rules and more. Yet there are still players sent to free agency, arbitration and so on. With computer manages can't play but moderan day baseball. What's the use in playing Historic Leagues? |
