Online league import crash

Version: 2.0.3.68
PC/MAC: PC; Windows Vista
What were you doing? I was trying to import the most recent league file through the game
What happened? When the file finished downloading, the menu said "Loading Leagues" and the status bar read six percent, at which point the game hung and then crashed
Reproducible? Yes
Problem occurs with other leagues? No; in no other online leagues

This issue has been killing me for the better part of the year. I appreciate any and all suggestions.

Have you tried re-downloading a fresh copy of your league files from the commissioner?

Numerous times. Doesn't pan out for me. I got fresh league files from a different source that would allow me to play and export, but I still cannot import the fresh file. Once again, it's the same persistent problem. I appreciate any help I can get.

I'll bump this thread since the user involved is an owner in my league. He's been having this problem since we began play late last year and all my efforts to troubleshoot it have failed. Nutlaw, if there's any specific details you need just ask away and I'll see about getting them for you.

Just to verify his statement in the initial post, he can get files to import in other on-line leagues?

In a web browser, can he access the site at which the files are hosted?

Does he have any firewalls enabled?

How large is the saved game (number of leagues, number of teams, years of history) and what is his processor speed and RAM? How much available hard drive space does he have?

Does he have any antivirus programs running? Does he have any other programs running while attempting to import files?

This is the only online league he's in.

The league file is about 24 MB. There are 11 leagues and 232 teams in the universe. I'll check on the technical specs of his computer.

I will check on this as well.
