I'm trying to simulate a World Series using the historically correct teams. To do this, I'll create and sim a year, say 1949. Then I'll reschedule the series using the historically correct teams, regardless of how the regular season turned out. For example, I simulated the 1949 season until the post season starts. Then I rescheduled the World Series using the Yankees and Dodgers.

EVERY TIME I DO THIS, the game crashes when I try to actually play a series game, usually when I try to make a roster change.

Is there a different way to simulate a series between the two teams that were actually in the series in a certain year that works?

Also, will the game crash in OOTP10 when I attempt this? If so I want to cancel my order.
