Every once in awhile, I have some free time at work (I'm a school teacher) and I want to play a little OOTP on my iBook. To get to internet access in school, we have to go through a proxy server.

However, whenever I try to start OOTP at work, I get a message asking for my activation key again. I input my user name and password for the proxy server, but it still asks me for my activation key.

Eventually the game loads, but the "Activate Game" button appears in the lower left corner of the screen. Of course, this means that OOTP is in the "demo" mode and some of the features are limited.

At home, I never have a problem "playing" OOTP. It "works."

Any ideas what is causing this issue? Does OOTP always need an internet connection to work?
