a team in our league porked around with their ticket pricing strategy and blew things out of whack for a few games.

i would like to go in and modify the 'gate receipts' for several teams. this is not an editable thing via the in-game menus.

i can successfully dump the raw data into an excel file and modify it. i am assuming that i can then import this new data back into the game, but i cannot find out how/where to do this.

if i am wrong and this is NOT possible, does anybody have an idea on how to repair this in any way? we would love to maintain the financial integrity of the league if at all possible. one way - a TERRIBLE last resort option in my opinion - might be to sign a player to a rediculously high contract and then cut them. this would at last 'back out' the increased income from the gate i guess, but the whacked-out figures would still be shown in gate receipts.

If you're

1) Running the latest version of OOTP
2) Have Windows as your OS
3) Have .NET Framework 3.5 installed

then goto OOTPGame

and download the editor - the version there just does team re-importing at the moment, so choose your game from the first screen (bit untidy, needs tarting up), click Continue, and let it load the database, click Continue, log-in (doesn't alter any later features yet), and then click Load Teams on the left.

On the right side it should pop up with a Check CSVs - click that and it'll load up the CSVs relevant to teams, and then you select which ones you want (team_financials probably) and click import.

This may work, but IIRC there are two fields in the teams record that aren't in the csv's and they are the final balances (I believe), and I don't know if the game updates them or uses them as the basis for other figures.

i've downloaded and run everything, but it hangs up immediately. our league is still on OOTP 2007 until after this season, so this might be why.

is there a work around for the version?

'fraid not. Markus made some changes to the file headers between 2007/8 and 9
