Salary Offering Problem

When you offer a free agent a contract starting when free agents become available after the season is over there is an inherent problem. Up until 12/31 when you are outbid and go to offer a free agent a better contract and go to the screen that tells you your last offer there is no problem seeing what your last offer was. On Jan 1st of the next year when you go to the same screen the game does not retain the last offer you made. This means that unless I write down the last offer before Jan 1st I have to guess at what my last offer was

I have not seen this particular behavior, though I have seen offers lost at various points during the offseason for reasons I can't explain, particularly in online leagues.

Are you seeing this with all offers, or did you just see it in one instance? Are you playing a solo or online league? Are you using version 9.2.11?

I don't recall having lost the details of offers from an online league when the year has rolled over. Could you just before the year rolls over take a copy of your offers.dat file and then again when the year rolls over and if you've lost an offer, could you upload these two files to the FTP site and we'll have a look at them.

I will do this if it happens again. The other thing I noticed is that if lets say a coach is offered a salary and they get a better offer and you go back to see what you offered the salary goes back to the original offer...

If someone could take a copy of their offers.dat from before the new year and then again after the new year if this problem occurs and upload them, that would be great.

Having seen a before and after offers.dat, I can only assume that there is a problem within the game as both files contain all the offers.

I'll raise this with Markus if we can reproduce it in 10.
