Actually, it worked pretty well in OOTP 6 but I have not tried it in the OOTP8. I was using an older format of my tool then, however, so it MAY work now. I would like it if I could resurrect one of my old leagues that all I have is the Catobase from...

If this works (I'm sure it will once I get my lazy arse going), this is a online league-saver. Thanks!

It worked great. One question, though. We contracted 4 teams before moving to OOTP2007. Thoes 4 teams had full cato history, but they were not imported into the OOTP8 history section.

Is there any way to get them in there?

its actually importing each year TWICE. All the historical stats are doubled. The csv files look fine, I don't know why it is importing twice.

Any idea?

Edit: ran it a few more times and it seems to do something different every time. Sometimes it changes players names, sometimes it doubles certain players stats and not others. Very weird.

It seems to be doubling the players that retired in OOTP 2007 and not the ones in OOTP 6.5. Although I found at least one player that retired in OOTP 2007 that was not doubled.

Edit - Now it seems to be working - no doubling. All I did was made a small change to a CSV file and tried again. *shrug*

So there's no way to migrate human manager information into the OOTP 8 history report? Not even by some manual manipulation of data?

Can someone post the Cato Database downloads? I can't find any active links for it.

The rows in Teams.csv need to be sorted in a particular way in order for the league history index to generate properly. Open Teams.csv and sort the information first by season, and then by sub-league so that the listings for your Sub-League 1 (the one that customarily appears on the left side of your screen in OOTP) always come before the listings for Sub-League 2. For example, using a typical MLB setup, you would need to make sure that your list of AL teams for a season always appears before the list of NL teams for that same season.

Having problems with this. I imported and the EA champ was listed on the left as the WA champ and vice versa. Deleted league, went into teams.csv, ordered by the first column, then the second so that all WA teams were at the top. Saved, re-converted, no luck.

Any help?
