Important! Tech Support for OOTP

Hi folks,

As we approach release date, I wanted to point out our new OOTP 9 Technical Support Forum. We will also have a Frequently Asked Questions forum for OOTP 9.

Once we go live, it's very important that you post technical problems in the Tech Support forum. Post-launch is always very hectic, and it's very likely your problem will get lost if you post it in a reply to someone else's thread in General Discussions, or even as its own thread.

Please don't assume that just because some people have discussed an issue in General Discussions, that it has been logged in our tracking system!

If a problem is important to you, post it in Tech Support. For all involved, it's better to have a problem logged 3 separate times than not logged at all, because everyone assumes it's been logged.

Please be sure to read the tech support readme before posting any issues, and follow those guidelines. This will help ensure that your issue gets into our issue tracking system more promptly.

Finally, we ask some patience in the first weeks, as tech support volume is typically high, and it's an all-volunteer staff manning the tech support boards.
