This week I have played about 200 innings - I only play out the last two innings in each game - in my first OOTP9 league and am pleased to find that I have had only one typo so far - and it had already been fixed in the text database, but after the last patch had been released. (I think it was the one with "catcher's name followed by 'it'" on a passed ball play. "It" was left it in by mistake.

Thanks to everyone for your help in this thread. You guys have eagle eyes and I appreciate your help and dedication in reporting the errors.

Hopefully in the OOTP10 Beta, we can convinced Markus to fix the language and typos in the Hard-Coded PBP.

Eugene,I've had a couple of funky errors lately where the play by play gave an impression of the inning being over but it was only the first out of the inning.I'm sorry I don't have a screenie but it kinda caught me by surprise. If it happens again I will capture it for you

That would be a good thing to fix. I haven't seen it yet.

But that sounds like a Markus programming problem.

Let me know if you see it again and I will post it in Bugzilla.

The one, off the top of my head, that I recall with the same reaction - I think - was the one including the phrase "and he (or batter's name) strands the runner on second. It is one that abruptly ends the at-bat, but has that 'feel' of ending the inning, given the way it's worded. I'll keep an eye out for it as well.

endgame's post make me believe it could in the conditions. I may not have restricted it to only being used with two outs when men are left on base. I can check this, but it would take quite a bit of time to go through each category.

More information would help.

I don't need a screen shot, but I need to know the exact wording in the PBP for the entire at bat... or at least the final play result. I may be able to tell if it is in the text or in the Hard Code.

I can fix the text database, but not the Hard Code.

Not sure if this has been mentioned - the PBP text should read "an RBI", not "a RBI", because "RBI" is pronounced "Ar-Bee-Eye".
