Already there!

Sound fix: My team thanks you, the fans thank you and I thank you.
Development report: excellent!
Team main page: Great!
A fine job done by a fine crew.
Best baseball computer game and I've gone through quite a few since my days with my old Atari 8-bit.

Not working?

Patching up to the Most Recent Version (PC)

To patch your version of OOTP 9 up to the latest version, you have two choices:
  1. Download the full version of the game, and just install it over your current version. This will not uninstall any custom files, such as saved games, nor will it affect your license. Still, it never hurts to back up your important files before performing any sort of upgrade!
  2. Replace just the main executable file, using the links and instructions below, but without receiving the updates to the Major League file.
When I click the link, I get
Not Found

So what's up? How do I get the patch then?

Larsen, must be a bad link, I'll fix it in a minute, but it's actually just linking to the section higher up on that page that says "download the full version for mac"! So, just scroll up to that section and follow those instructions!

That link . . . blah blah. (The true expert answered above).

Edit: I'm sorry, battists. I did not know you were online and answering. Got any sleep at all?

Well thanks very much for your hard work. The timing of this patch is most fortunate for me. I just finished setting up my new universe last night, and voilą!

OK, download complete. But dammit, the lawn is calling me. "Oh 1998, come groom me! It's getting to be a jungle out here and the neighbors are looking at me and shaking their heads!" I put the darned thing off yesterday to finish up my new universe. I guess I can print out the features and fixes list and read it while I'm mowing.

I'm trying to install the PC-Executable Only and I'm not too bright apparently...The instructions-
PC Executable-Only Installation Instructions
  1. Go to your OOTP program directory. By default it is C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 9
  2. Rename the file "ootp9.zip" to "ootp9.zip.old".
  3. Download the executable file from one of the links above and unzip.
  4. Copy the downloaded file into the OOTP program directory.
  5. Launch the game.
I get to step 2 and I don't see the ootp9.zip. I see ootp9.exe. Is this what I should rename to ootp9.exe.old ? I'm probably missing somethign obvious. Thanks.
