Running true historical rosters
Is it possible when running a historical sim, to have the correct players for each team in a certain year to be in the correct ootp team as well. I know they can be 'drafted' to the correct starting team but once there they follow their own career path.

Not without a lot of work on your own.
Disable Ammy Draft. Then get Transactions for that year, follow them to the T.

Thats why i dont bother putting players on correct teams. The closest i will do is drafting players to their original teams. I tried to keep players on correct teams but unless you turn injuries off you end up with a star player not available for team in some years. Just not the same to have all players on their correct teams and Babe Ruth not on the Yankees cause a CEI. And turning off injuries takes some of the fun and surprise out of the game imo. |
