Running true historical rosters

Is it possible when running a historical sim, to have the correct players for each team in a certain year to be in the correct ootp team as well. I know they can be 'drafted' to the correct starting team but once there they follow their own career path.

Not without a lot of work on your own.

Disable Ammy Draft.
Then get Transactions for that year, follow them to the T.

Wouldnt you have to disable trades and turn off injuries as well?

Or does he just want to have say Joe Jackson on the Cleveland in 1911 and on the White Sox in 1917 but keep injuries on. Just asking cause he may go through the trouble of having all the players on the right teams only to see
a player go down with a career ending injury. Thats why i dont bother
putting players on correct teams. The closest i will do is drafting players to their original teams. I tried to keep players on correct teams but unless you turn injuries off you end up with a star player not available for team in some years. Just not the same to have all players on their correct teams and Babe Ruth not on the Yankees cause a CEI. And turning off injuries takes some of the fun and surprise out of the game imo.
