I wish this really happened in 1995....
Well, just bought the game today, was trying out a historical league begining in 1995. I am a Red Sox fan and on May 5, 1995 a dream came true....
"Career Over for Derek Jeter A severe injury sustained in yesterday's contest against Milwaukee at Yankee Stadium has cut short the baseball career of Derek Jeter at the age of 20. Team officials reported that the New York shortstop was injured running the bases and suffered a fractured knee that will end his career. This season Jeter is batting .324 with 12 RBIs, 18 runs scored and 2 home runs" Too bad that never really happened....lol |
