BZ 1484: 9.0.27/9.1.0: Intermediate scouting reports not stored

First noticed in 0.27; In several fictional leagues I've started up so far, the Scouting Reports section of the player profile keeps the first scouting report, but does not add in reports after the initial one.

An example: The scout I'm given is rather good, so I stick with him. I get his first report on Jan 1 2008, then sim to the start of the season. He then gives the Apr 1 report. I then sim for another month, then start requesting scouting reports. When that is given, say on May 1, the scouting reports section gives the May 1 report, then in the "Past Reports" section only has the Jan 1 report.

With 9.1.0 in the Player Development Report, this then means that when I chose Previous Report time frame, it compares the May 1 and Jan 1 reports instead of May 1 and April 1.

It looks to me like the game only saves the yearly reports as additional "past reports." The bi-monthy (or whatever it is) periodioc reports then become the current reports. Hopefully that makes sense.

In other words, your scout will rescout everyone at some point before your second season. That report will then be saved as a previous report. So it appears the previous reports section only keeps the yearly reports on file.

I get what you mean, but it also means that I have to remember how they were scouted at mid-season last year, or any time frame less than a year. My thought is that you'd want to be able to compare on smaller time frames (say monthly or quarterly) that just the generic annual report.

I'd prefer it that way as well. Maybe this should be a request.

Thanked 8x in 8 posts
This was BZ 1484 and was marked as something that will not be addressed. They only want to save one report per year.
