looks like you put alot of very hard work into this and its much appreciated, but for some reason I can't even sim one day and the game crashes, I hope its just something simple, anybody else having the same problem?

same problem for me, looks like a great job done on this league and I hope we can get it to work somehow, was you able to fix your problem?

I think that is to be expected given the enormity of the league. Make sure you turn the view mode to simple in the preferences, and maybe turn off saving game logs and box scores (Unless you want them)

I haven't yet, but will try this idea soon. Ill report back on what happens. I will try to get to it soon.

Having the same issue--and I noticed the Japanese league has standings that suggest it's the end of the year, despite being Jan 1..

OK, I have found what the issue is...I am not sure of what I can do right now to fix it, other than creating these leagues post template...It appears any league that I had to specially modify to run with an odd number of teams is crashing the game...

Here is the fix:

Delete the following leagues:

Nippon Ni-Gun
Venezuelan Summer League
Arizona Summer League
Appalachian League

I am going to have to try and re-add them after creation and see if this fixes the issue...

I have noticed that many of the indy leagues are set to "Very High Detail"...

lowering the detail levels of these leagues will considerably speed up gameplay...

No problem, just glad their are people like you that make this game alot more enjoyable, I think this is the best ever version and these templates just make it much more enjoyable..

Is it possible to delete everything except one of the AA leagues? I just want to play the Eastern League, and not have any feeder leagues or anything.

One small thing I noticed...Is it me, or there an unusually high number of foreign players in this world...especially in the major leagues. Most of them appear to be Asian.

I am new to this game.
Can someone tell me how to play using this set.
I have unzipped it to both the My Documents . . . folder
& have also unzipped to OOTPB folder so I know its there.

The problem is opening it.

I'm confused..the game start date is 1-1-2007 but under history the 2007 season has already been played.

In case you're interested, the Israel Baseball League is set to begin play in June. Might be a nice addition to your quickstart. It'll feature 6 teams. Here is their website (via the blog I found this), which has some logo graphics, though I don't see jersies yet:

Apparently they're going to try to get an Israeli team in the '09 World Baseball Classic.
