Template question...

I downloaded a template from Padresfan's site and unzipped it to the data\template file. When I try to start a new game using a template this one is not listed. Can anyone give me instructions on how this should be done. Thanks.

There are two OOTP 2007 folders. One in your program files and one in your My Documents. Make sure it's in the My Documents one.

And if you're on a Mac, where do they go?

My guess, if it's not showing up, is that you put it in the Templates folder and not the World Templates folder. Both are folders contained in the \Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Data folder.

I just encountered this. Unless you have a World Template saved already, the folder will not exist. Simply create a new folder within the data folder named world_templates

Then the template should show up...

Could somebody please help me??

I have tried to implement the World of Baseball v1.5. I just purchased OOTP2007 and have followed the instructions in this thread/Padres site. I first installed to the program files, then read further and installed to the one found in "my documents." I created a folder in the data folder and named it world_templates and extracted the zipped WOB1.5 into it. I am still not getting any templates. When I go to new game, then cancel the wizard, and try to bring up/load world mods, there is nothing to load.

What am I doing wrong here?

I really want to play OOTP2007, but I can't get this to work right.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Kevin

The WOB1.5 is a saved game rather than a template, so it would have to be placed in your saved_games folder ...

It would go in this directory (example)...

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\saved_games
