Hmm... the only time I got that was when I didn't fill in the required Playoff Odds Configuration fields (FYI, do 1.82 for exponent). We're in the offseason as well and I don't get any errors running the report.

If you have all the fields filled in, I don't know what to say. What line does it say it is crashing on? I can take a peek but this is fhomness's work.

Is it possible to configure the Last Sim module to report on multiple leagues in your OOTP universe? I was interested to see if Last Sim could show the results from both our majors and our three minor league systems.

i didnt have anything in there, or at least the wrong numbers,. i put in 1.82 for the exponent just ow, and 1 for seasons. i get this:

"Illegal division by zero at OOTPOU/Utils.pm line 312, line 2"

Hmm... Looks like it is indeed due to being in the offseason. The division that it is failing on is using the win/loss percentages of a team, which are very liekly 0. What I don't understand is why it is not failing for my league. Care to zip up your .csv files and I can take a look? Thanks.

And to Cosairs, yes, it is possible, but probably not something I'll do in the near future.

Yep, that's the same error I get. We're also in the offseason.

One anomaly I noticed is that the team records shown on the Sim Results page aren't correct for our league. For instance, my team (the Aurora Borealis) currently has a record of 61-56. The Playoff Odds section correctly displays this. On the Sim Results page, however, it shows my record as 78-63. Now I'd certainly be happy if I go 17-7 over my next 24 games, but I haven't played them yet and I doubt Sim Results can read the future... or can it?

By gum, I believe you've hit right on it! My spring training record was indeed 17-7, perfectly accounting for the extra games. So, any idea how I can prevent those games from being lumped in with the regular season ones?

Yeah, sorry. I made a change in 2.1 to add spring training games to the mix to show the results of spring trainiing games in the sim results page. Forgot about the overall record thingamabob. I'll fix it in the next patch; doesn't seem too critical.

You have to do it manually by using last years standings.

Ok I am a total newb to this utility and cant get it to work. I have read the readme and I am not sure how to proceed. Hopefully someone can assist.

1) I uploaded the files to my cgi directory
2) I verified the system path to the Perl Intrepeter is #!/usr/bin/perl
3) I have the pl file here www.nobl.net/cgi/ootpou.pl

I get this

nope, don't have that access

I just called my host (GoDaddy) and they claim its a 'scripting issue' and that shell access isn't something even the technicians there have for supporting people using there shared hosting.

good thing is they did confirm I have the right perl path and my file is executable (umm duhhh)
