Help getting park images into games

Can someone please give me a detailed how-to on getting ball parks images to show up in my games? I have downloaded the images, placed them in the data/ballpars folder. I have the choice to browse and change every park individually, but I also have the ballpark.dat and would like the player posistions and ball flight to be set for me. I have placed this in the league I am currently running. It asked me if I wanted to replace the old file and I did. Some help would be GREATLY appriciated!

I am having the same problem...how do I import the parks.dat file? I followed the instructions on how to install from ingame (add-on central) but all the park pictures were the standard Philly stadium. Even when I switch the photo, the dimensions and park factors remain the same.

How can I import the parks.dat?

1) Quit OOTP9 - this is important

2) Place the photos in your \Documents\Out Of The Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 9\ballparks folder

3) Place the parks.dat file in your \Documents\Out Of The Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 9\Saved_Games\ folder, where is the name of your saved league.

4) Launch OOTP9 and load your league.

What format should the parks name's be listed in? I followed your instructions, but alas, no auto-import.

There is no auto-import. You'll need to go to the team's Home page, Options, and Edit Ballpark. Then type in the ballpark name or use the Browse function to select the park for each team, day and night, or you'll simply be using the default .jpgs.

Edit: Unless I'm missing something about a mod that is able to do this with parks.dat - To my knowledge, it's hand done.

Oh, okay, I can do that...should that automatically update the park factors and weather?
