changing position
I haven't played since V5. Word of mouth kept me from playing V6. I tried the demo for 7 and loved it and voila I am back
It seems like I remember is V5 that there was an option to change to change a player's position. Is there something similar in v7 |

If you mean changing his default position, go to his Player Profile opening page. Along the bottom there's a popup menu that allows you to set a position or role for him. (I think the same menu is available if you rightclick on his highlighted name on most screens, but I can't swear to it.)
If you mean training him to play a different position, that's more involved.

Ah, the advice in post two should allow that. In OotPB-speak, that's called a 'role' change, because his position remains 'pitcher', but it's done the same way.
