viewing service time?
Is there a way I can see the amount of service time all the players in my organization have, on one screen? A report or filter option somewhere, so I can tell who's coming up on Rule V eligibility, minor league FA, arb status, stuff like that?
I know about the financial/salary reports where I can see who's auto-resign and who's arb. I'm looking for an overall breakdown of pro & roster service time specifically. Last edited by wlight1 : 01-14-2008 at 12:43 AM. |

Not AFAIK, no. But, you can get darned close.
Go to your roster screen and select the default Financial Info view. This already has contract information in it. Next, select Customize from the View button menu, then the Financial Info tab (see below). There you will see that you can add columns for ML and secondary roster time and options used. If you like this view, then you should save it. If you know your settings for Service Years Required for Arbitration and Minimum Service Years for Minor League FA, then you will be able to pick out the players of interest from this view. Unfortunately, the rest of what you asked for is available only elsewhere. For example, if you go to your Transactions, Minor Leagues screen, you can scan quickly for those dreaded symbols: + (Player is out of minor league options) and # (Player is Rule 5 Draft eligible). And, of course, you mentioned the Player Salary Report for auto-renew and arbitration status. Not great, but doable with a few clicks here and there. Wouldn't it be great, though, if OOTP came with a Report Writer? ![]()
