First Annual OOTP Convention June 4-6 including RECAP

On June 4-6, 2004 the First OOTP convention was held in Toledo Ohio. It was a fun event, and here is the thread that announced it, planned it, and reported on it's results. Join us next year !!

Set aside the dates June 4-6 for our first annual OOTP Convention in Toledo, Ohio. It will be hosted by the:

Mud Hens Out of the Park Association (MHOOTPA league)

Convention will include:

-Guest Speakers
OOTP Developers
Former Professional Ballplayers
-OOTP/ITP Roundtable Discussions
-Commissioners, League Panel
-Baseball Forum
-MudHens game
-Memoribilia Show Auction
-Free Giveaways of OOTP Merchandise and Games
-And Much More

Convention prices (excluding lodging and travel) start at $60.00 or $85.00 with spouse, special events planned for spouses during the convention as well.

Tentative Schedule:
Friday
6:00-9:00 Dinner and Convention Overview.

Saturday
7:00-9:00 Breakfast

9:00-11:00 OOTP Roundtable Discussion(OOTP staff)

11:30-1:00 League Commissioners Meeting
OR
11:30-1:00 OOTP Open Discussion

1:00-2:00 Lunch at Fifth Third Field

2:00-5:00 Baseball Forum, Panel Discussion(Former Professional Ballplayers, etc), Memorabilia Auction.

6:00-11:00 MudHens Game

Sunday
7:00-9:00 Breakfast

9:00-12:00 OOTP Products, Giveaways and Sale.

12:00 Begin departing for home.

Registration begins Friday February 27th, a link will be posted here.

*Convention subject to a minimum number of attendees, refunds given if notified 30 days prior to the event.

is that Fifth Third Field in Toledo? Or it is the one in Dayton (home of the reds class A Dayton Dragons? Is there more than one Fifth Third Field?

Depending on how quick we fill up the intention is to have most of the forums in the roost on the 3rd and 4th floor. Our league still has employees with the Hens, Hence the name Mud Hens out of the park Association.-CC

It will be in the d'town area where you can walk to most everything, a good deal will be at the park though not 100% certain right now.
