Not sure what you mean. If you are pointing to the fact that there is no commentary, that's what I meant to do. I simmed this season months ago but never got around to posting it. i just decided to post the results so I could move on to the next season. I would like to do more commentary, but have decided to just keep this going instead.

1925 World Series
A's pitcher Herb Pennock helped himself with a RBI triple in the 3rd to start the scoring. Eddie Collins singled in Pennock, and three batters later, Collins scored on a single by Al Simmons. The A's never looked back as Pennock allowed just 1 run off 6 hits. The loss went to Ernie Shore. Game 1: New York 1 - Philadelphia 3 In the 5th, six straight Athletics reached base against Waite Hoyt with two outs, and the home team took a 4-0 lead. Ross Youngs hit a 2-run HR for the Giants in the 9th, and with two outs in that inning George Kelly got a pinch hit double to bring the tying run to the plate. But AL Top Rookie Lefty Grove enduced a ground out off the bat of George Burns to end the game. Game 2: New York 2 - Philadelphia 4 A 2-run HR by Al Simmons gave the A's a 2-1 lead in the 7th. Then pinch hitter George Kelly and pitcher Rosy Ryan both drove in a run in the bottom of that inning to put New York back on top 3-2. The Giants took a 6-2 lead in the 8th and won by that score. Game 3: Philadelphia 2 - New York 6 This game went back and forth from the very first inning. The Giants scored 4 in the 5th to take a 7-5 lead. Both teams scored a run in the 6th, then a double by Amos Strunk in the 7th tied the game for the A's. In the 9th, Shoeless Joe Jackson hit a single off Ernie Shore to give Philly a 9-8 lead. Mule Watson came in to pitch in the 8th and allowed just one base runner in two innings pitched. Game 4: Philadelphia 9 - New York 8 A 5-run 5th inning gave Waite Hoyt and the Giants a lead they would not relinquish. Now they have to win the next two games in Philly to avoid elimination. Game 5: Philadelphia 3 - New York 7 The A's took a 4-2 lead with a big 2nd inning, but the Giants scored in the next 3 innings and eventually led 6-4. A's 3B Sammy Hale drove in a run with a single in the 6th. Then SS Whitey Witt hit a sac fly to score rookie catcher Mickey Cochrane from 3rd to tie the game. In the top of the 9th, Al Simmons drove home a run, and Joe Bush finished off the game by shutting down the Giants in the bottom of the frame. Game 6: New York 6 - Philadelphia 7 Winner, 4-2: Philadelphia Athletics, 9th Championship, 14th Pennant New York Giants, 17th Pennant
