It looks like these Senators are trying to make up for the Walter Johnson era Senators' early exit. Good to see that there ended up being a Battle of Canada, although I would prefer a different result than what is shaping up right now.

I find that I pay more attention to what happening in the Groups without one of my teams. When I have a team in a group I tend to concentrate on just that matchup.

That is interesting. I love following all the matchups in each group, simply because they are so hard to predict. I find myself trying to not peek at the next game of the day until I have posted all the notes for the current one. Each game is so vital in this format, I think it has made for some crazy and interesting results. I hope everyone is enjoying this as much as I. I really don't have the slightest idea who to expect to win each of the 16 groups. Even after the 1st rounds of the first 6 groups it is hard to pick a clear cut favorite of the 8 remaining team most of the time.
