Hmm, you are right. I can't do anything about it now though. The 1953 Dodgers are getting the shaft in this deal, but it will be impossible to alter the seeding.

I went to this page on baseball reference and took the 1901 record and missed the spot at the top where it said they were the Brewers in 1901. It is a bit confusing because the 1901 Orioles were actually the current Yankees and the 1901 Brewers were actually the current Orioles. I apologize for this confusion, but it was bound to happen with 256 teams. Hopefully no one will be too upset

That's fine. No harm done. The 1901 O's were a good team, but not good enough to beat the 53 Dodgers !

...I have the 15th and 16th seed teams, so we'll see what happens !!

Wow, I didn't even pay attention to that. Arguably the best season ever by a pitcher vs. arguably the best season ever by a hitter. This will definately be interesting. Keep us updated on those matchups.

My "bold" (and probably wrong) prediction is that Bonds and the Giants will beat Gibson and the Cards. It seems that (so far) the hitting teams have done real well against the pitching teams. Maybe a reason why the deadball teams have not advanced ? Giants 10-6.
