Of course they have Sam Crawford who may be the only deadball era bat has truly been huge in the tourney. He actually has the single series record for RBIs, which is strange.

I hate to admit it, but I pretty much wrote off the Tigers when the Red Sox ran off 8 in a row. But, when they started making the come back I was checking for updates regularly (good thing that my computer doesn't face the door).

I don't blame you for nearly writing them off, I would have too. Down 9-4 in this tourney is as close to dead as you are gonna get. Cobb and Crawford have proven to be nearly the only deadballers that can lineup against post1920 eras and put together enough offense to win. I believe Cobb hit well over .450 for the series. Congrats on the improbable comeback and becoming the first member to notch 5 slots in round #2!!!

And be sure to check out Group X as you have two more teams in that group

Group X will most likely start tomorrow morning after I have finished the heroes and goats for this group.

They actually scored some runs a few games and their pitching let them down. Deadball teams can't do that and expect to advance in this tourney.
