Gauging Interest
Because I don't feel like looking for my last thread on the matter, I posted a new one. So there.
People are still interested in a new dynasty countdown for 2005, right? Because mine is completely subjective (ie, the people vote for their favorites), it shouldn't be too affected by the crash. I know Y0DA's took a big hit because a lot of posts were deleted, and now we have this silly views/posts ratio of basically 1, which kills any sabermetric formulas. If people are still interested in the Top 10 Dynasties of 2005, great. If the crash took away your desire, that's fine too. I just want to know before I go compiling a list no one will read. The deadline for any dynasty to be take into consideration will be the 30th of this month. |

I know I'd like to see a 2005 countdown, definitely.

I definitely, emphatically and wholeheartedly think you should do it, and I'm sure pretty much everyone would agree.
After all, it's you who'll be doing the work ![]()

Just to reiterate, it would be a community vote. Completely subjective as decided by you, the readers and writers. I'll dive through all the old threads from the past year and bring up some of the favorites, but you would send me a ballot of 10 of your favorites. I will compile the votes and publish the final list.
Last year I had roughly 20-30 votes. The thread is around here somewhere, but there were a ton of dynasties that were voted for. Y0DA was the one who put together the objective list, for the stat freaks. Didn't matter too much as we both found out that Craig's Pale Hose was the #1 dynasty of 2004. I don't know how his list will be handled. |
