Just spent most of the weekend reading this whole thread - it's an amazing piece of work, metsgeek, and I really enjoyed it. However, just got here and discovered it seems to have come to a halt. Surely this is just a hiatus ... not a full stop ... say it ain't so

I want it to continue for admittedly selfish reasons. One of my player creation is due to start just after the war. *sniff, sniff*

He does live in the town right next to me. I suppose I can start going door to door and asking for him. It might be a little creepy though....

'Hello, are you metsgeek?'

'A Mets geek? I'm a Red Sox fan!'

'Do you know what the PLAGUE is?'

'TERRORIST! SOMEONE CALL THE COPS!'

Probably easier to PM him and ask. I'll do it now.

In addition to the players listed above, the following individuals will never make their mark on the world. They would have been born in 1932, but Haemorrhagic Fever struck them down.

DABNEY COLEMAN
UMBERTO ECO
GAY TALESE
MAJEL BARRETT
JOHNNY CASH
ELIZABETH TAYLOR
GENE SHALIT
TINY TIM
CASEY KASEM
MARIO CUOMO
DAVE THOMAS
V.S. NAIPAUL
ROBERT REED
SYVIA PLATH
Now if there will be a world of AT40 without Casey i'll say Charlie Tuna before Shadoe Stevens

Just to let everyone know, I PM'd metsgeek and the chances of Plague continuing are very remote. I'm not prepared to quote the message he sent to me but the gist of it was that if he was to ever resume chronicling it, it won't be any time soon.

Sorry, folks.

I am sorry to hear that Metsgeek probably won't be finishing this. I have always liked following his dynasties. Metsgeek, in case you're checking in on this, thanks and I hope to see a dynasty of yours soon!
