Except for Spiezio (career .254 hitter), these stats look pretty realistic so far. It's too early in Cano's career to predict whether he would not drop down in this manner from his rookie year instead of contending for the batting title in 2006. Also, on both counts, it's still relatively early in the season in your sim.

A-Rod, though. Looks like he's getting booed in your sim and he's a total emotional wreck over it now. Fifth on the club in RBI's? He'd be a basket case IRL.

A-rod has struggled in close/late situations. He is hitting for power, but just not driving in runs. Thankfully, Matsui is hitting very well. Lane has turned out to be a good run producer as well. I traded for him hoping he would be a 20HR 80RBI guy, it looks like he might top that.

Dotel is hitting 1.000 and Moose is hitting .429. Are they the next Babe Ruths?

I'd be a lot more impressed if Dotel had an ERA of 1.000, or even 4.290, but I bet he doesn't.

Yankees 9
Mets 8

W. B. Donnelly(1-3)
L. B. Wagner(3-2)

Our offense saved us. We scored 5 in the ninth. So that was a big turn around. Mr. Yankee, Derek Jeter, hit a grand slam in the ninth to win it off of Billy Wagner.

PoG: Derek Jeter(3-5 1HR 4RBI 1R

I would have had overdose on tums watching Billy the Kid on the hill with the bases full against Jeter.

Is Aaron Heilman a starting pitcher with that 9-6 record?

Yea. Heilman is the #4 guy right now.

Billy the kid gave up a run in every one of his appearences in this series. We had his number this time after he owned us last time we faced them.
