Lima is only for protection in case of a rash of injuries. He wouldn't be the first guy called up if someone gets hurt, so don't expect to see him in the bigs, with the Yankees at least .

Gomes is a wierd thing. His team isn't that great but he continues to come up every time with RISP.

After clinching the division, Godzilla went down for 5 weeks on 9/24. Looks like we won't have him to help us make it to the WS. We called up Kevin Reese. Lane will move to LF and Bernie will take back over as DH.
