Yankees 7
Red Sox 3

W. O Dotel(1-0)
L. C. Schilling(1-4)
S. S. Proctor(1)

The game stayed tied until the top of the eigth. We broke out with three runs and then another in the ninth. Wang was so so giving up 3 runs in 6 IP. The bullpen held up really well. Trever Miller struck out David Ortiz with the bases jucied and 2 outs( He had come in to relieve Farnsworth). Matsui went deep in the top of the 8th for a 3-run homer.

PoG: Hideki Matsui(1-4 1HR 3RBI)

Yankees 0
Devil Rays 7

W. M. Hendrickson(4-2)
L. S. Chacon(3-2)

Hendrickson threw a CG and shut us out. He gave up only 5 hits and walked 2. Our offense was terrible.

PoG: No one cause we suck!

Yankees 1
Devil Rays 2

W. D. Waechter(1-1)
L. C. Pavano(1-6)
S. J. Colome(1)

After sweeping the Sox in a two game set, we come to Tampa and get swept in a two gamer by the D-Rays. Their pitching was phenomenal this series. We managed only 1 run in two games after sweeping them earlier in the year.

PoG: Carl Pavano(7.2 1ER 1BB 5K)

Yankees 3
Rangers 7

W. K. Loe(3-4)
L. I. Snell(2-3)
S. F. Cordero(6)

Snell struck out eight in his Yankee debut but gave up 6 ER in 6 1/3 innings. Jason Bay hit his first homer as a Yankee, so I guess thats a bright spot.

PoG: Jason Bay(2-4 1HR 1RBI 1R)

L. A. Alfonseca(0-1)
S. M. Rivera(7)

After losing three straight, we needed a good pitching performance which we didnt get. Moose struggled and now sports a 5.75 ERA for the season. Jeter, Bay, Posada, Matsui and Willaims all went yard.

PoG: Jason Bay(3-4 1HR 4RBI 2R 1BB)

Man it is addicting to play over and over when you get a losing streak.

How is Jose Reyes doing so far for the Mets in this sim.

We still have no pitching whatsoever. Bay and A-rod both went deep. Each had three hits. Posada, Williams and Speizio all had 2 hits.

The Mets are in first 23-15 and Reyes is hitting .304 with 2HR and 17RBI. He has stolen 19 bases in 36 games and scored 20 runs. His OPS is .773. He has had only two errors in 118 attempts fielding wise. Not too shabby. Although his run total seems a bit low for him, he is doing quite well.

And yes, when you lose alot in a row, its hard to stop playing.

Great, have the Mets made any stupid trades. The Mets have made quite a few stinkers in my dynasty giving away Endy Chavez for 6th round pick talent.

Yankees 5
Athletics 4

W. O. Dotel(3-0)
L. B. Halsey(0-2)
S. M. Rivera(9)

Jeter committed his 10th error of the season. I'm considering dealing for a better defensive SS and moving Jeter to DH, but I doubt that will happen. Pavano had a decent game giving up 1ER but 4R overall. Speizio went deep and Jeter had three hits.

PoG: Derek Jeter(3-5 1DB 2RBI)

They haven't even made any deals. They released Jose Valentin and put Anderson Hernandez on waivers but pulled him back after someone claimed him. So they have been relatively smart so far.
