I'm going to try this it'll be for 20th century. My grandpa.

Name: Moses Wright
Born: June 29, 1873
Died: December 16, 1962
Born: Virginia
Debut Year: 1893 (rural area, causing him to escape discovery for a couple extra years)

Position: SP
2nd Position: RP (if need be only)

Skill 1: Control
Skill 2: Groundball Inducing.

Nickname: Mule (stubborness)
Ht: about 6"0
Wt: about 170
#: 11 (for the number of children he had)
Righty T/B

Pitches: Good sinker, good curve, maybe occasional 4-seamer or change

if possible make him Durable (in nearly 50 years of work, the number of days missed could be counted on one hand)

Edit: since you're still in the 19th century, I am going to move all dates 20 years earlier, to satisfy impatience. LOL.

The next available debut year is 1894 - do you want to edit your player, or have him come in at 30 years old?

Actually, Mattingly, if I remember reading right Lip Pike was a Jewish and left-handed 2B/of in the 1870s.. National Association and National League.

Interesting, well, like I said, unlikely, not impossible.

NAME: Lauri Pihkala
DOB: 1/5/1888
DOD: 5/20/1981
PLACE OF BIRTH: Pihtipudas, Finland
DEBUT YEAR (must be at least 17 years after DOB): 1908
POSITION: Right Fielder
SECONDARY POSITION (if you'd like your guy to be versatile): none
SKILL 1: Contact
SKILL 2: Baserunning Instincts

NICKNAME: The Swingin' Finn (His real, Finnish, nickname was Tahko but I'm pretty sure he would have gotten a new nickname in the US)
HEIGHT: 5' 11"
WEIGHT: 170
NUMBER: 6
BATS (R/L/S): L
THROWS (R/L): L

Description of character: Lauri "Tahko" Pihkala was the developer of Finnish baseball (pesäpallo). But what if - instead of returning to Finland after his trip to USA - he had started playing the American game himself?
