This is my 1st dynasty. Actually I am doing this mainly for myself to keep track of my goals, why I made the trades I did, etc. I usually look back at my leagues and think... What the heck was I thinking signing so and so! This is also my first league in OOTP9 (recent convert from 6.5).
I am taking over the 1980 Cleveland Indians and will hopefully turn the team around quicker than in real life (considering they were competitive until 1994 I think I can do it!) I am going sim until Spring Training ends without making any roster changes so that I begin with a roster that is very close to the actual opening day roster in 1980. So here we go back to the incredibly craptacular Cleveland Indians of my youth............... Last edited by johneh : 10-10-2008 at 11:21 PM. |

Opening Roster
![]() C: Ron Hassey is the starter - A decent hitter and slightly above average behind the plate. Gary Alexander is the backup - a liability behind the plate & at the plate. 1st: Mike Hargove starts - A high contact hitter who rarely strikes out. His defense leaves a lot to be desired. Cliff Johnson will back up at 1st and see a lot of time at DH. 2nd: Last edited by johneh : 11-01-2008 at 08:42 AM. |
