For the record, the Yankees have been to the World Series 44 times and have an amazing record of 38-6 in the Fall Classic. The Texas Rangers, on the other hand, have never been to a World Series.

NLCS: St. Louis Cardinals (125-37) vs. Montreal Expos (135-27)

The Montreal Expos are three-time defending World Champions, and winners of 4 World Series overall. The St. Louis Cardinals have won 4 NL pennants, but have not been to a World Series since way back in 2137. Their only World Series title came in 2124, ninety-nine years ago.
