New York Clinches ABC Championship
October 14, 1873 New York entered the day up 2 games with 2 games to play. They needed to win just one more game to clinch their first ABC Championship. They jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the 3rd against Washington and that would be all they need as SP Jonathan Starr pitched another gem.
