Pastime Baseball League: Northern League Outstanding Hitter Award Voting (2011)
The Pastime Baseball League has finished its 2011 regular season, so I need your help again in determining the award winners. Your help is greatly appreciated, and you guys have done a great job with the first two seasons.
If you're unfamiliar with the thread, I hope you'll come by and check it out. That all said, I present the nominees. Northern League Nominees Jake Beckley (1B, Indianapolis Engines)
Roger Connor (1B, New York Heroes)
Elmer Flick (RF, Indianapolis Engines)
Dick Higham (C, New York Heroes)
Stan Musial (OF, Indianapolis Engines)

Beckley is my choice, although Stan the Man is still my man. I voted with my head and not my heart.
Beckley hitting .356 (1st)... first in runs (122) and fourth in RBIs (106)... is hard to beat. Last edited by Eugene Church; 11-17-2009 at 02:05 PM. |
