It was all about the pitching today as David Phelps went 5 strong, allowing one run off three hits and Aroldis Chapman pitched for the first time in a Toronto uniform and gave up one hit in two innings, striking out three.

Toronto beat the White Sox 3-2.

WP - Aaron Crow (1-0)

LP - Dylan Axelrod (0-1)

Spring Record - 2-1

Matt Magill sure didn't look ready for the big leagues today. He gave up 11 runs in the first and 4 more in the second. Eventually the Toronto bullpen settled down and the offence kicked it up, but they still fell 15-11 to the Mariners.

It is temporary, I am sure. We are just letting him work off his rust there before bringing him back up.

Robinson Cano's fractured rib is going to force him to miss the start of the season. He should be back around the end of April.
