What settings do you use for your game? (Primarily rosters, free agency, trading and so forth)

I use the standard set-up. I don't really change anything.

Huge rumour... apparently the management of the Blue Jays is considering trading Gustavo Pena! He is the reigning AL MVP!

It seems that they want to see if they can make a deal while his value is at its peak and install Dennis Holley as the catcher.

Holley is better behind the dish but could they make a trade worth losing Pena's bat? Where would they upgrade? The rotation? Center field? Maybe second base with Garner's injury?

The Blue Jays seemed to have the game in hand when a couple of ninth inning errors allowed the Rangers to tie the game up, but in the bottom of the frame Dennis Holley delivered a clutch RBI single to give Toronto the 5-4 win.

Eiichi Hasegawa hit his first homer as a Jay.

Gustavo Pena did not play as rumours continue to swirl.

WP - Bob Lacey (1-0)
LP - Jeff Lahti (1-1)

Spring Record - 4-4

THE RUMOURS WERE TRUE!!

To WHITE SOX

Gustavo Pena
Nolan Banks
Ron Beach

The Jays turned the reigning MVP into a new starting Center Fielder, an ELITE relief prospect and some major salary relief.

(The fans are MAD...)

Herndon joins the major league camp. Garner joins the minor league camp.

Sent to AAA: Doug Corbett, Owen Haynes, Gary Gaetti

Placed on Waivers: Al Woods

After pitching 5 innings without giving up an earned run in his first spring training start, Roger Erickson got rocked by the Twins, giving up 8 runs in the first two innings.

Jerome Thomson's three-run blast is the only thing that stopped this from being a complete laugher as the Twins won 10-4.

Also, Billy Sample left the game with a deep bone bruise on his knee and will not be ready for opening day.

WP - Dickie Noles (2-0)
LP - Roger Erickson (0-1)

Spring Record - 4-5
