This was a tough day for the Toronto bullpen. Not only did they take the brunt of a 10-6 loss to the Royals, but both Ed Daugherty and Gary Gilliland left the game with injuries. What settings do you use for your game? (Primarily rosters, free agency, trading and so forth)

Huge rumour... apparently the management of the Blue Jays is considering trading Gustavo Pena! He is the reigning AL MVP!
It seems that they want to see if they can make a deal while his value is at its peak and install Dennis Holley as the catcher. Holley is better behind the dish but could they make a trade worth losing Pena's bat? Where would they upgrade? The rotation? Center field? Maybe second base with Garner's injury?

Eiichi Hasegawa hit his first homer as a Jay. Gustavo Pena did not play as rumours continue to swirl. WP - Bob Lacey (1-0) LP - Jeff Lahti (1-1) Spring Record - 4-4

After pitching 5 innings without giving up an earned run in his first spring training start, Roger Erickson got rocked by the Twins, giving up 8 runs in the first two innings. Jerome Thomson's three-run blast is the only thing that stopped this from being a complete laugher as the Twins won 10-4. Also, Billy Sample left the game with a deep bone bruise on his knee and will not be ready for opening day. WP - Dickie Noles (2-0) LP - Roger Erickson (0-1) Spring Record - 4-5
