Juan Marichal is 2-0 against Pittsburgh with a 1.13 era.

Cincinnati goes 3-2 for the week. Overall record of 5-5 while 2.5 GB behind LA Dodgers.
All of the Reds wins are against Pittsburgh Pirates



Juan Marichal is a perfect 3-0, 0.72 era
Bill Mazeroski continues to hit, now on a 13 game hitting streak. 18 for 40, .450 avg
Duke Carmel is hitting .320 since back from the DL
Jim Davenport is hitting the ball very well. .357 so far.

Reds improve to 16-16 and trail LA Dodgers by 6 games.

Cincinnati squeaked out a 3-3 record for the week.
Currently 19-19 while 7 GB San Fransisco.



Ken Boyer goes 9 for 26 .346.

Cincinnati goes 4-3. Despite splitting a four game series with Philly. Reds played decent.
Ken McBride fires a shut out. Bill Mazeroski (8 for 24, 2 HR, 6 RBIs) and Dick Groat
(8 for 25, HR 2 RBIs) led Cincinnati.

Week #8

Reds falter with a 2-4 record. Juan Marichal picks up both Reds wins to improve to 9-0.
Marichal was also named the NL Pitcher of the Month for May. Bill Mazeroski is still
producing as a FA pick up during the off season. He is .319, 6 HR, 25 RBIs for this season.
