Notable Additions
John Anderson (Trade with Browns) Dick Braggins (Waiver claim from Phillies) Notable Losses Alfredo Rodriguez (Trade with Browns) Jim. St. Vrain (Trade with Browns) Lave Winham (Trade with Browns) George Van Haltren (released) Experts say we are the fourth most improved club in the bigs. #1 is the Boston Americans. Our rival Pirates are at #9. Their off-season was a wash. They made a minor league free agent signing and lost a player in the Rule 5 Draft (to us). Worst off-season was the Washington Senators. They traded away Jake Weimer and got very little in return.
