Here are my new goals from Owner Alan Horn:

Play close to .500 ball this season
Upgrade at Center Field this season
Sign Edwin Johan Santana to an extension
Keep building your team up, in order to reach the playoffs in the next 6 seasons

Well, we got a few offers on Navarro, but nothing to write home about. The most interesting players were Miguel Montero from the Cubs and Rajai Davis from the Tigers.

The things is, Montero is pretty good behind the dish and would be a big upgrade over Josh Thole backing-up Martin, which would give us another roster spot. It would also cost us $7m, but we have the room.

We have other ideas in mind. Ideas that would dramatically improve our bullpen.

The preseason predictions have us finishing four games behind the Rays for third in the AL East and an even record..

Other division winners: Detroit & Oakland. Wild cards: Kansas City & Boston.

Jose Bautista is predicted to be the third best hitter in the AL. Edwin Encarnacion is eighth. (Miguel Cabrera, Tigers is first.)

No Toronto pitchers are in the top ten. (Sonny Gray, A's is #1)

In the NL the division winners are Washington, St. Louis & Los Angeles with Miami and Milwaukee being the Wild Cards.

Top Hitter: Joey Votto, Reds

Top Pitcher: Clayton Kershaw, Dodgers

We are thought to have the 12th best minor league system with Jake Brentz being our top prospect down in Rookie ball. (Minnesota is #1.)

April 6th, 2015

In the re-do of Opening Day, Drew Hutchinson got rocked. He gave up five runs before recording an out and in the end didn't get through two innings. The bullpen did much better but the Jays still fell to the Yankees 6-4.

Justin Smoak and Jose Bautista hit homers for Toronto.

Mark Texeira scored his 1000th career run.

Hey Rusty I'm not sure if you remember me or not from adopt a prospect 2.0 but maybe you could start one for ootp 16, that would be cool. I would do it but my laptop broke and I haven't got a new one yet. I would be in it and I figure they always get a lot of attraction other people would be interested.

Toronto beat New York 8-6.
