Milwaukee Brewers.....2015 & beyond

Meet the 2015 Milwaukee Brewers

Starting rotation
  1. Mike Fiers (#50, $507,500): Mike will start his first opening day in 2015. Mike had a nice 2014 season, going 6-5 with a 2.13 ERA
  2. Matt Garza (#22, $12,500,000): Matt finished his first season with the Brewers with a 8-8 record and 3.64 ERA.
  3. Kyle Lohse (#26, $11,000,000): Kyle will start his 3rd and final year of a three year contract. Last year Kyle went 13-9 with a 3.54 ERA
  4. Jimmy Nelson (#52, $507,000): Jimmy Will make his first opening day roster in 2015. Jimmy had a great 2014 season in AAA Nashville, going 10-2.
  5. Wily Peralta (#38, $515,000): Look for Wily to build on his successful 2014 season. He went 17-11 with a 3.53 ERA.
Bullpen
  • Jeremy Jeffress (#21, $507.600): Jeremy looks to takeover the closer duties for 2015.
  • Francisco Rodriguez (#57, $3,500,000): After having 44 saves for the Brewers in 2014, the Brewers resigned Francisco to a 3 year deal.
  • Neal Cotts (#48, $3,000,000): Neal signed a one year deal after pitching out of the bullpen for the Rangers in 2014. He appeared in 73 games last season.
  • Will Smith (#13, 507,500): Will looks to be one of the most used arms out of the bullpen again in 2015.
  • Brandon Kintzler (#53, $1,075,000): Brandon looks to rebound this season after slipping a bit in 2014.
  • Jonathan Broxton (#51, $9,000,000): Jonathan came over from the Reds in a trade last season. He will look to improve on his 4.35 ERA from last year with the Brewers.
  • Chris Perez (#68, $500,000): Chris made the opening day roster after being a non roster invitee for spring training.
Catchers
  • Jonathan Lucroy (#20, $3,000,000): Lucroy his coming off his first all-star game last season. Jonathan has put his name among the great catchers of today.
  • Martin Maldonado (#12, $800,000): Martin is a very good defensive catcher and a solid backup.
Infielders
  • Adam Lind, 1B (#24, $7,500,000): Adam came over from Toronto in a deal that sent Marco Estrada packing. The Brewers finally have a decent first baseman since Prince Fielder left.
  • Ryan "Scooter" Gennett, 2B (#2, $507,500): Scooter will get every chance in 2015 to be the everyday second baseman with Rickie Weeks gone. He will have to improve his hitting against lefties.
  • Aramis Ramirez, 3B (#16, $14,000,000): A-Ram will be entering his final year of a four year contract. Aramis is coming off his third all-star season.
  • Jean Segura, SS (#9, $534,000): After having a breakout season in 2013, last season was a wreak. Jean's young son died early during the season and he just couldn't keep his head in the game. He did however finish 2014 on a solid month.
  • Luis Jimenez, 3B (#14, $507,500): Luis will be the corner infield backup. He hit 21 homers in AAA during 2014.
  • Hector Gomez, SS (#5, $507,500): Gomez had a decent season for AAA Nashville last season. He will backup short & second this season.
Outfielders
  • Khris Davis, LF (#18, $507,500): Khris has always had that power swing as he led the Brewers in homeruns in 2014 with 22. Khris will need to improve on his on-base percentage if he wants to reach the next level of play.
  • Carlos Gomez, CF (#27, $8,000,000): Gomez is coming off his second straight all-star season. He is also a top tier defensive center fielder. Carlos would love to have a 30-30 season.
  • Ryan Braun, RF (#8, $12,000,000): Ryan is coming off two straight seasons that he would love to forget. After being suspended for 65 games in 2013 & dealing with an injured thumb last season. He had surgery this past off season in hopes for a bounce back season in 2015.
  • Gerardo Parra, LF (#28, $6,237,500): Parra is an elite defensive outfielder. He will be able to sub for both corner outfield positions.
  • Logan Schafer, CF (#7, $507,500): Logan is a very solid outfielder that will need to improve his bat if he wants to see more playing time.
