2015 Blue Jays - Ending the Drought

With the trade deadline approaching and my hometown Blue Jays involved in a multitude of rumors yet not taking any action despite continuing to be in their seemingly endless battle to obtain that elusive playoff berth, I've decided to step into the shoes of GM Alex Anthopoulos from Opening Day of the 2015 season to see if a more decisive version of Anthopoulos could create a clearer path to the playoffs for the Jays.

I'll be giving periodic updates in the form of diary entries from AA himself. My settings are default MLB quickstart except for hard trading difficulty, ratings shown based on AI evaluation (with default 65/20/10/5 player evaluation), and DH in both leagues (I think it's silly not to).

Never mind - nothing I do could ever come close to what AA has done in the past couple of days. This dynasty is over before it even started.

Thanks for your support! I've actually decided to return to that Padres one because I was having so much fun with it - expect a new post in that dynasty within the next few days!
