Los Angeles Rams
Alright my laptop has been (still) having technical difficulties. So I can't play ootp on it anymore, but my family has a desktop. I downloaded Front Office Football as a way to bull**** while studying, because it's been midterms, and my dad has sent me here to study all day and night on weekends and after baseball at school. Frankly it gets boring after all you do for hours is study so I got this.
I'm in the 2024 playoffs with my Rams so I figured I missed writing so I may as well take off from the 2024-2025 offseason. My next post will be a team recap of the previous years, some of the players, and coaching staff.

Team History/Season Awards 2024
Alright so before I go over our season awards I will go through our team history and explain some of our players shown by our team leaders.
This just shows our career record as a team, and it's coaches not much else. I like to try and balance my coaching staff though, because I like having good play callers at coordinator, as Larry Fitzgerald is good at everything but play calling. I actually used to have Matt Hassleback as my assistant coach and I was going to promote him if we had 1 more bad season to the head coach and fire Fitz, but he was drafted as a coordinator (there's a staff draft instead of coach free agency, the only way you can take another teams coaches is through promotion) and I lost him. This just shows our interesting team history. We started off solid and I thought we'd be good off the gate, but then after season 2 we imploaded, after a huge step backwards from our then "franchise QB" who turned out to be a bust. I then had to start a full rebuild. Now let's take a look at my players of past and present. Carlton Pasricha- Drafted 14th overall in our 2016 draft, he had all the tools and potential in the world to get it done, but he didn't. In 2016 he started the first 11 games of the season before injuring his knee and missed the final 5 games and the playoffs (we lost in the wild card round), which he would have been able to come back for the divisional round. That 2016 season though was a glimpse of hope for the future when he threw for 2245 yards in 272 attempts completing 67.3% of his passes throwing for 14 touchdowns compared to just 9 interceptions with a 95.9 passer rating He was a non factor running the ball, as he was more of a prototypical pocket passer. That knee injury may have affected him though as the following season (2017) he threw for 2650 yards on 464 attempts completing 62.3% of his passes. He then threw only 12 touchdowns compared 22 interceptions 2018 was pretty much the same and by 2019 he was a 3rd stringer who was cut in week 5. He then signed with Green Bay a few weeks later completely bombed in 3 starts and never threw another NFL pass. He did however hang around as a 3rd stringer for the Vikings in 2020 who appeared in a game but didn't accumulate any stats. In 2021 he signed with the Sea Hawks, never appeared in a game and was cut in week 8. He then retired following the season. Todd Gurley- I'm not going to go as in depth as I did with Pasricha, mainly because I just thought he was an intriguing player. Basically with Gurley he was a huge under performer. He only averaged over 3 yards a carry once, and was a huge baby. He held out before his 4th season, and I didn't have enough cap room to resign him which I was going to do anyway, as he just came off his only good season and I thought he had turned a corner. In the middle of the season, when I had more money he refused to negotiate citing being insulted by the team after he ended his holdout, and for the next 2 seasons I franchised him and still refused to negotiate, eventually I just let him walk and it was the right choice in the end. Corey Krueger- I drafted him 12th overall after our 7-9 season in 2022. He would have been a top 5 pick probably top 3 based off potential, but he has chararcter issues so he fell. I needed a back and he had a lot of talent do I took a chance and boy was it a great decision. He won the Player of the Year (mvp) in both his seasons so far and was rookie of the year last season. He has taken the burden off of our QB and is looking like the next Walter Peyton or Adrian Peterson. Junior Kloosterman- This is another interesting one. In the 2019 we had the 3rd overall pick, and the Giants had the first. We both needed a QB so I traded up to the 1st pick only giving up the 3rd pick in the draft and a future 1st (it ended up being the 2nd pick in 2021, but to get your franchise QB it's worth it). His first 4 seasons he was a backup. He was like Paxton Lynch in a way lots of upside but is very raw. He was average in his first season as starter, but was very good the next to seasons, leading us to a super bowl ring in 2023. He missed 5 games however in 2024 in 2 separate stints so our offense wasn't consistent this year, and that resulted in us finishing 8-8. That was just this years Superbowl My next post will be highlighting some star players on our team. Idk why that screenshot is down there.

Top Players
Alright I'm going to show you 3 of my biggest stars. I have others that may be higher rated then a few of these guys but these 3 I feel make the biggest impact.
as I stated earlier he is a 2 time mvp in as many seasons and is an all around beast Is a free agent this year, but I will franchise him and extend him. He's 32 so I will be wary with how long, and how much. Stud young QB who is locked up for a few more years. I see him as a Russel Wilson if you compare him to any QB in the league today. Doesn't throw for a whole lot of yards can run when he needs to and has a great back to complement him.

Pre Free Agency
Just a quick update here. We didn't lose any of our staff in the staff draft, and made no major re-signings, other than bringing back star linebacker Lucas Hitchcock.

Yeah I know this isn't a typical ootp thread, but idk people tend not to mind other games, plus it's just a fun game I want to share.

Free Agency Highlights
These are just the main players we signed this off season. We didn't land any of the huge free agents, although I threw some offers out there, I was really only serious about adding Leornard Williams (he re-signed with the Jets), but other than that I signed a bunch of solid depth.

First 3 Draft Picks
A tip to the people who get this game in the future once you run out of scouted prospects just let the ai pick because without scouting it's like shooting darts in the dark.
This class wasn't a strong was but it did some potential contributors.

Nice picks in round 1 and 2...that DE has some awesome combines! The WR's not as impressive but I love his agility because that correlates with Getting Downfield. Great pick-ups and good luck!

Bye Week Update
Going into the bye week we're only 5-5. We have been very streaky this year, and this bye week maybe prove to be a curse, as we won the first 2 games this year, lost the next 5, and won the last 3.
He's putting together a steller season once again proving he's a franchise qb. We are running the ball extremely well once again. This receiving core is lacking a big play threat, in the off season I'll make a push to get one. We have a good pass defense but our run D is average at best. I believe the numbers show that we are better than 5-5 and hopefully we can prove that in the second half and push for a wild card spot as a division title seems unlikely at this point.

Ok I'll make a full season recap, but in advance of that I finished 8-8 dropping at least 2 more 3 points or less games, and do you think it's time to fire Larry Fitzgerald, and bring potentially Hassleback back or promote Cassle to head coach?

Wow really enjoying this dynasty. In fact it's making me strongly consider buying the game. Judging by the bye week stats, this team should be far better than 8-8, so it might be time for Fitzgerald to go

I agree. He's been there 7 years plus. He's become too comfortable.

Yeah I agree with you both, he led us to a championship, but it's just time. It's either Hassleback returning to the organization, or Matt Cassle gets a promtion. If both Cassle and Hassleback aren't available (bith could be picked for head coach before my pick) idk which way I'll go.

2025 Season Recap
Well as I've stated before we went 8-8, and the Team has informed long time head coach Larry Fitzgerald that he will be released from his contract effective immediately. I hope he finds another job though because he is a good coach, although he would not be a great fit as a coordinator because play calling is his weakness.
Kloosterman didn't play as well down the stretch, but was still phenomenal and once again asserted himself as a top QB. Corey Krueger turned in his worst season of his career, but just look at his stats still MVP worthy, and still the undisputed best in the league. I'm not gonna comment much on our receiving other than as I've emphasized on in the past we need a big play threat. Our defensive line still needs upgrades but I have found a piece for the future in Newman. They also stuffed the run with help from out astounding linebackers. Our linebacking core has been nothing new, still a tackling machine. Our secondary didn't cause many turnovers which isn't great but they played great coverage so I'm ok with it. Overall our defense was very good but need to improve on the turnovers, and I would like higher sack numbers as well. Krueger was dethroned by the chiefs star QB, but was still a total beast.

Post Staff Draft/Free agency and Draft Preview 2025 Offseason
The staff draft has come and gone and we added 2 quality coaches. We also resigned a few up coming free agents and re-signed 2 established players that were either franchised this year or going into their last season.
Not much to say other than two quality coaches. I didn't need to change our D-Coordinator, but it was just a cpu generated guy I've had from the start, and figured with our turnover problems we should bring in new blood. Plus new coaches always shake up the staff a bit. I was originally going to go in house for head coach (I know Hassleback isn't technically in house but he was part of our staff a few seasons ago). I decided to go here because he's an offensive minded coach who I think will help our receivers and Kloosterman. A lot for a running back but you can't argue with production. Great player love to see him back. Top Needs 1. Established #1 receiver 2. Get another young D-Lineman (through the draft most likely) 3. Another top corner/free safety (It doesn't matter what position just want another solid D-Back) 4. Linebacker depth (potentially losing a starter and 2 30+ guys) 5. Fill Guard spots (both starters could be upgraded not a huge deal if we don't) I feel like if we achieve 3 of the goals we will be set up fine next year as I feel like this team was more of a 10-6 or 11-5 team then an 8-8, because of all those 3 point or less loss'
