Mega Tournament! Every Season From Every Franchise

There have been a lot of tournaments to try and determine the best team of all time, but the way I figure it, if you really want to determine the best, why not include every team from every franchise from every season? Moreover, why limit it to a one game series or best of seven series? How about a 162 game season for each and every matchup? There are 2,357 different teams that competed between 1901 and 2015, when each franchise is included. So that's what we'll be doing, folks. It may take awhile to finish, but it's the journey, not the destination, that's important right?

I'll be putting teams into 16 team sub brackets to start things off and make things easier. Here is sub bracket #1, courtesy of randomization from random.org.:

1950 Indians(92-62) vs. 1966 Pirates(92-70)
1923 Cubs(83-71) vs. 1992 Mets(72-90)
1979 Angels(88-74) vs. 1991 Tigers(84-78)
1987 Reds(84-78) vs. 1975 Twins(76-83)
1908 Highlanders(51-103) vs. 1985 Mariners(74-88)
1957 Cardinals(87-67) vs. 1972 Reds(95-59)
1903 Athletics(75-60) vs. 1990 Tigers(79-83)
1999 Cardinals(75-86) vs. 1958 Cubs(72-82)

Next Matchup: Team - Record - Pathagorean W/L
1950 Indians(92-62)(0) vs. 1966 Pirates(92-70)(+1) Betting Line: 1950 Indians by 4 games

I had been using the default settings, which is no DH at all, but now that you mention it the DH should be used for AL teams post 1973, and I will use that in the future.
