Opinions wanted on solo league site
Hey everyone,
I've been working on a solo league for a while. Unfortunately, due to work, I wasn't able to get the site launched earlier. Decided to hold off launching the site until after OOTP6 comes out. The site is still a work in progress, as are the league rules, etc. I even changed one of the names of a league, but haven't uploaded the new .html files from OOTP. I would like to hear some opinions on how the site looks and any changes you would make. One of the things I have been playing with is the player pictures. Trying to see what they look like with a grey tint. Examples of the gray tint can be found in the player list with Sailor Abbott and Jim Allison. Most of the other players are in the original style; all of the players don't have pictures, however. Thanks for any insights on what needs to be improved. The Ol' Time Baseball League

He could name it the "I Like Big Butts Baseball League" if he wanted to. At any rate, it looks good. I've bookmarked it and I'll be following the league, eagerly checking out the franchise changes, etc.... You're using actual players, right? I just have one suggestion. To differentiate the San Fran franchises, you should name one San Francisco (H) and the other San Francisco (P).

Metsgeek,
Going to be all fictional players to start out. Not enough info on the players is available. I have a book that lists stats for the Southern Association. Lots of the stats are missing. For example, there are no pitching stats listed for 1893 at all. I might start inputting some real players around the turn of the century when the stats start getting better.

You have done a stunning job with your fictional league, Markmeister. I love everything about it. The team names, player names and player pictures are wonderful. You could go with silver tint or original on the photos and you'd still capture that vintage baseball flavor that your league portraits so beautifully. Keep up the great work as I will definitely be following along.
